Nani's Castle in Bariloche

We take off from the Helitronador's Headquarters at the Nahuel Huapi Lake National Aerodrome in Dina Huapi heading west.

We gain altitude reaching the shore of Nahuel Huapi Lake and we turn 180 degrees to continue heading east directly to the Pichi Leufú stream, about 15 miles from the LNH Aerodrome.

On the way to Castillo de Nani we fly in the vicinity of the Los Juncos Lagoon and the Perito Moreno Train Station at a height of about 7,000 feet above sea level. Once there we flew over the Castle of Nani, which is a rock formation that stands out on a slope of the Patagonian Steppe, near National Route 23, about 6 nautical miles west of Pilcaniyeu .

Back to our Headquarters we take off heading North. We gain height by following the Pichi Leufú stream to school number 231, which is one mile from the Castle.

We go through the Railway bridge heading South and from there we return to Nahuel Huapi Lake, passing by the Villegas Mountains following the La Fragua Canyon until reaching the Amphitheater of the Limay River. At that point we turn and accompany the Limay River until we reach Dina Huapi and finally our Base of Operations.

A varied flight in which the Nani's Castle stands out, emerging from the ground of the Patagonian Steppe, followed by the fantastic La Fragua Canyon and culminated by the Limay River and an incredible view of Bariloche and Nahuel Huapi Lake back to our Operations Base with an unforgettable experience earned to remember the region in all its splendor.
